Exciting News! Technical Book Launch 

Hi everyone! I’m happy to share that my first technical book, titled “An Overview of Modern Fuel Injection Strategies for Automotive Diesel, LNG, and Hydrogen Engines” is now open for bookings! 🚗

This book was launched at the Marquee event of CXO Incubator FUTURE OF INDIA INC 2025 on 16th Nov 2025 in Mumbai, in the presence of over 100 senior professionals from various industries. Radhika Balakrishnan, CXO Coach unveiled the book, and Industry Stalwart, ex-Managing Director of Tata Group and author Harish Bhat, promoted it and shared a well-wish note on the book and on a LinkedIn post.
 
The book has also received 13 endorsements from experts in the automotive industry and academia. The author is working toward a greater purpose: supporting communities, including automotive professionals, engineering students, academia, and underprivileged students. This book combines insights from my PhD research, years of automotive R&D experience, and hands-on projects to provide a deep understanding of how modern fuel injection strategies influence performance, emissions, and combustion noise at the vehicle level.

It also explores the emerging fields of Diesel–LNG and Diesel–Hydrogen dual-fuel engines using High-Pressure Direct Injection (HPDI) systems — key technologies driving the future of clean and efficient mobility.
 

Recently, I attended the 10th CVF (Commercial Vehicle Forum) as a Panel Speaker on 10th June in Pune.

The event brought together automotive industry leaders, Fleet Owners, consultants, suppliers, and R&D experts to discuss the trends shaping the future of mobility, especially in the CV industry of India. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and exchange perspectives. Thanks to CVF, especially Rohit Dewan
I had the privilege of sharing my perspective alongside distinguished industry experts at The Next Regulatory Wave: Safety, Emissions & Compliance. This panel was moderated nicely by Kinjal Shah

The key takeaway from the panel discussion:-

(1)The Automotive industry in India is at the right speed to meet regulatory norms with respect to the global context. BS-VII emission norms are coming with additional challenges

(2)Tailpipe emissions are not the only source of Pollution. We may look into other sources as well 

(3)India is a cost-sensitive market. High valued (TCO, uptime) products expected by indian customer /fleet owners with lower upfront cost.

(4)To get the best out of Safety, Emissions & Compliance, an appropriate ecosystem (Policy, infrastructure, supply chain, driver training) must be developed. All costs should not be transferred to the end customer/Fleet owner

(5) E2E (cradle-to-grave) emission control is also important 

(6)There should be an option for feedback and re-evaluation of the implications of emission norms 

(7)OEM should provide the right features for the right application so that the end customer can get good value out of it.

I had the privilege to attend the 6th India Automotive Powertrain Summit 2026 in Chennai as Panel Speaker and Presenter. 
The two days event brought together automotive industry leaders, suppliers , consultancy firm and R&D experts to discuss , learn , exchange perspectives on trends shaping the future of mobility of India and its growth. 

It was a great experience and honour to share the stage with distinguished panel members, including Vikas Chopra, Mukesh Bhat, Ratheesh Sivan pillai and the moderator Sunil Kumar Pandey

The panel discussion Topic "Multi-path Transformation: Powertrain strategies under India's Fuel Diversification Roadmap".

The panel members believe that a mix of powertrain strategies( ICE , ICE - Alternative fuels, BEV, FCEV , PHEV , REEV) and fuels will continue in the coming decade, based on application, TCO/Customer Value, modularity /scalability, innovation with data -AI ML/ Digitalisation, ecosystem (Policy, Infrastructure, supply chain resilience) supported for both OEM and end customer needs for the cost-sensitive Indian market, keeping focus on sustainability goals

Also, I had the opportunity to present a few slides on the topic:- "Commercial Vehicle powertrain shift from diesel to multi-fuel mobility pathways, infra readiness, adoption".

In my recent podcast at the CXO Retreat and Future of India Inc 2025, I was asked, 
“Which technology(powertrain) do you believe will dominate the automotive industry?”

My response was-
✒️ There won’t be a single technology solution for the world. 
✒️ All the Powertrain technologies will co-exist, depending on applications and many other factors. 
✒️ Conventional ICE is proven technology and will continue for a few more decades without a doubt.

🔆 The technology choices, or drivers for any technology maturity, depend on
1. Legislation 
2. Global CHG goal (Decarbonization)
3. Ecosystem (Material & infrastructure)
4. Supply chains
5. TCO & upfront cost
6. Geopolitical Security
7. Govt Polices/Subsidies and Automotive bodies alignment.
8. Job security 

In India, BEVs will dominate 2Ws, 3Ws, cars, and last-mile transport, whereas medium and heavy-duty vehicles will continue to use ICE-based clean fuels such as LNG and H₂-ICE. 
 

I had the opportunity to share a few of my leadership thoughts during a podcast at the CXO Retreat and Future of India Inc 2025.
One of the key questions I was asked was:
“How do you handle technology disruption as a leader?”

I shared my perspective as
* Agility and adaptability are the need of the hour.
- Across every level of the organisation, we must be ready to accept and embrace disruption.
* Rather than seeing disruption as a challenge, we should view it as an opportunity for growth.

* At the same time, curiosity and continuous learning are essential.
- Take AI/GenAI as an example — it is transforming every industry. 
The best way forward is to learn it, understand it, and use it as a powerful tool to enhance productivity and efficiency. 
 

I'm excited to be at Future of India 2025!  I'll share my insights on an interesting topic during the CXO Talk at 𝐓𝐚𝐣 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐢 on Nov 15, 2025, which I'm incredibly passionate. 
I am looking forward to the talks and connecting with the leaders, top executives and wider professional community. This will undoubtedly be a promising day of learning and inspiration.

 

 I had the opportunity to virtually interact with engineering students of JIS College of Engineering 123, Kalyani, West Bengal. The Webinar on "Sustainable Trends in Vehicle Technology - EV, Alternative Fuels, Simulation & Gen AI" was organized by Dr. Sandip Ghosh, HOD -Department of Mechanical Engineering.

I had the opportunity to connect with 200+ academics & students in a webinar arranged by JKKN College of Engineering & Technology.

The webinar topic was: An overview of vehicle technology trends,” which covers electric vehicles, Alternative fuel vehicles, AR/VR/Digital Twin, and AI-ML –GenAI.
It was a great pleasure to interact with the next generation of engineering students and share knowledge and thoughts.

This was a 3-week mentorship program organised by CXO Incubator for professionals of 5-15 years of experience. I was one of the mentors, and it was a win-win session towards growth
